Around 6:00pm on Christmas Eve, Croton Falls Fire was requested to a house fire just over the district line in Brewster. Tanker 88 arrived as the second due engine company and made an aggressive interior attack alongside Brewster firefighters. Due to deteriorating conditions inside the structure, firefighters had difficulty accessing the fire. Ladder 67 with Utility 48 arrived on scene as the first due ladder company and began to assist with extinguishing the fire and ventilation. Car 2071 was on scene assisting Brewster command with operations. While operating, Car 2071 and Ladder 67 cleared the fire and responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries in North Salem. Tanker 88 and Utility 48 operated on scene in Brewster for roughly three hours.
