On Thursday, October 3rd at 16:14 hours, Croton Falls Fire responded to a reported motor vehicle accident with entrapment on Interstate 684. Katonah Fire Car 2212 was first on scene reporting a multi-vehicle accident with rollover and two trapped in one of the vehicles. Cars 2071, 2072, and Rescue 28 arrived on scene within minutes and put the tools to work. After 15 minutes, extrication was complete and all patients were turned over to North Salem VAC and Westchester EMS.

While operating, units were dispatched to the Shell Gas Station for an unresponsive patient. Utility 28 and Ladder 67 responded to the scene and provided patient care until EMS arrived. All units operated for an hour before returning in service.
