At 9:50 am on Tuesday morning, CFFD was dispatched to a residence on Hawley Road for a reported structure fire. While enroute, Car 2071 received an update from WCDES 60 Control reporting fire in the rear of the house. Car 2071 arrived on location with fire showing from the Charlie side and transmitted the 10-75. Ladder 67 arrived first due and stretched a hose line to the rear entry door as Car 2073 and additional members assisted with opening up interior and exterior walls for extension, cutting ventilation holes in the roof, and overhauling the exterior soffit. The fire was under control within an hour of dispatch and units operated for about two hours before returning in service.
