In the early hours of Sunday, December 8th, Tanker 88 was requested to respond to Briarcliff for a large outdoor fire. Car 2073 and Tanker 88 arrived and provided shuttles of water from multiple water sources to the scene for roughly four hours before returning in service.
On December 9th, Cars 2072, 2073, Engine 148, and Tanker 88 responded to a fully involved car fire on Route 22. Engine 148's crew extinguished the fire before clearing.
On December 10th, CFFD responded to a rollover with entrapment on Titicus Road. First arriving units found a utility truck on its side with power lines in the roadway and two subjects trapped. NYSEG arrived on scene and cut power to allow Rescue 28 and Utility 28's crews to begin extricating the two patients. Units operated for over three hours before clearing,
On December 12th, Engine 148 was requested to standby for the Somers Fire Department while they operated at a vehicle into a structure. While standing by, Engine 148 with Cars 2072 and 2073 responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 100 in Somers.
Later that evening, CFFD was dispatched to a rollover with entrapment on June Road. Car 2072 arrived on scene reported a single vehicle on its side with one trapped. Rescue 28, Utility 28, and Engine 148 assisted with stabilization and removing the trapped party from the vehicle. Units operated for an hour before clearing. |
