On Sunday afternoon, CFFD with NSVAC and WEMS was dispatched to Hardscrabble Road and Fields Lane for a motor vehicle accident with multiple injuries.

Car 2071 arrived on scene reporting two vehicles involved with seven patients. 2071 requested an additional Medic and BLS units to the scene, bringing in a second WEMS Medic, 7211, 8011, Somers EMS, AMR, and WCDES EMS 11. CFFD personnel assisted with BLS interventions for all patients involved until additional EMS units arrived on scene. The patients were transported to local trauma centers and Rescue 28 and Engine 149’s crews remained on scene until the vehicles were removed from the roadway. Car 2071, 2072, R28, E149, and U28 operated.
