At 1732 hours on Saturday evening, Croton Falls Fire was dispatched to an address on Stoneleigh Avenue for a reported structure fire. Car 2072 and WCDES Battalion 13 arrived on scene reporting fire showing from a 50’ x 20’ trailer home. Engine 148 arrived on scene and stretched a hose line to the front door, while Tanker 88 reverse laid the driveway with 5 inch hose. Engine 148’s crew knocked down the fire while Ladder 67, Tanker 8, and Carmel Engine 12-2-3’s crew began opening up and extinguishing additional pockets of fire. Units operated for about 3 hours prior to clearing the scene.
